BUSINESS / DATA ANALYST

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Business/Data Analyst, you are the link between business data and strategic decisions. You collect, structure and analyse data from various business domains to provide insights that contribute to smarter processes, better margins and effective reporting.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders from sales and marketing to production and logistics and play a key role in establishing a data-driven culture within Connecton Fasteners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collect, structure and analyse data from various domains such as sales, stock management, production, logistics and e-commerce.
Perform in-depth analyses on, among other things, sales figures, stock rotation, customer behaviour, product returns and market developments.
Support pricing strategies via accurate calculation of cost and sales prices.
Set up, maintain and improve dashboards and reports in Power BI.
Develop predictive models or optimisations based on historical data.
Actively contribute to process improvement and efficiency projects within the organisation.
Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for management.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in an economic, mathematical or technical field.
You have experience with Power BI and/or similar data visualisation tools.
You are analytically strong, work in a structured way and think logically.
You can quickly spot trends or deviations in data and interpret them correctly.
You are proactive, communicative and able to clearly communicate insights to colleagues without a technical background.
You have an affinity with the industry or technical environments, or would like to grow in this area.
Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus but not a must.
