HEALTH & SAFETY ADVISOR
JOB DESCRIPTION
As Health & Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for drafting, implementing and monitoring safety and welfare policies within the Roussel Group subsidiaries (Connecton Fasteners, Galvan, Olivier Bricks and Lowie Bricks). You will ensure that the working environment complies with legal and internal safety standards and work closely with the various branches to promote a strong safety culture.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Working closely with the management, you continuously strive for improvement, and you are the point of contact for all safety-related items. In addition, you have a strong advisory role.

Carrying out risk analyses and proactively looking for areas for improvement to guarantee a safe working environment.

Following up and reporting occupational accidents and formulating preventive measures.

Drawing up, implementing and monitoring the prevention and safety policy within the various sites.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
-
Prevention consultant level 2 (level 1 is a plus) or willing to undergo this training.

You can work independently and have a hands-on mentality.

You are strong in administration, maintain structure and follow administrative tasks accurately.

You have good communication and social skills and are willing to coach and sensitise employees, but also to motivate them to comply with safety measures.

You are fluent in Dutch and French.

Willing to travel regularly between the various sites of Group Roussel (within Belgium).
