FINANCIAL ANALYST

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Financial Accountant & Data Analyst, you will combine operational accounting tasks with financial analysis and (management) reporting. You will be a key member of our finance team, supporting the CFO by providing reliable figures and valuable insights.

Analysing financial results, margins, turnover and costs.
Group-level financial reporting for various entities.
Developing, automating and maintaining reporting processes.
Managing business and master data.
Analysing and structuring data from the CRM, ERP and BI systems.
Identifying trends, anomalies and commercial opportunities.
Supporting budgets, forecasts and various analyses.
Advising the CFO based on data and financial analyses.
Preparing, checking and analysing monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Assisting with day-to-day bookkeeping, including purchase and sales invoices and bank transactions.
Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
Actively participating in improving internal processes and streamlining financial workflows.
Providing support during audits and working closely with external accountants.
Carrying out ad hoc analyses.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance or economics.
Relevant experience in accounting and an analytical role.
Thorough knowledge of Excel, ERP and BI; experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Power BI is an advantage.
You effortlessly spot trends or anomalies in data.
Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
Proactive and solution-oriented, with a hands-on approach and a mindset focused on opportunities.
Structured, meticulous and able to meet deadlines.
Very good command of Dutch and French; knowledge of English is an advantage.
You are a team player, but can also work independently in a dynamic environment.
