Its subsidiary Connecton Fasteners (www.connecton.be) is the Belgian market leader in roof and wall fasteners and a supplier to construction distributors in 27 countries.

As part of the strategic growth and expansion of our product range, we are looking for a:

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Merchandiser at Connecton Fasteners, you will be responsible for the visual presentation and availability of our products at building material stores. You are often on the road and have daily contact with customers to optimise their shelves, implement promotions and present the range attractively.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Visiting building materials retailers and distribution points in Flanders and a part in Wallonia (close to the border).
Optimising the presentation and arrangement of our products on shop shelves.
Implementing promotions and commercial actions in consultation with the sales team.
Advising customers on assortment and shop layout.
Checking customer stocks and following up additional orders.
Reporting market developments and customer feedback to the sales and marketing department.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Initial experience in merchandising, sales or shop fitting is a plus.
Affinity with the construction sector or technical products is an asset.
Customer-oriented, commercially minded and communicatively strong.
Independent and flexible with a hands-on mentality.
In possession of a driving licence B.
You are fluent in Dutch and have a good knowledge of French.
